Spelling Bee helper

Type the day's seven letters and mark the center letter, and get every word the puzzle's rules allow: four or more letters, letters reusable as often as you like, center letter required in every word. A common-words filter keeps suggestions close to what the Bee actually accepts.

How to use it

  1. Type all seven letters of today's puzzle into the search box.
  2. Add the center letter as +letter — for example NOITACG +g.
  3. That's it: the mode presets 4+ letters, letter repeats, and the Common words filter. Toggle any of them freely.
  4. Hunting the pangram? Look for words that use all seven letters.

Questions & answers

Why doesn't the Bee accept every word this finds?

Spelling Bee uses a private, much smaller dictionary than the ENABLE list searched here, and it isn't published. The Common words filter (on by default in this mode) drops obscure dictionary-only words to get close.

How do I require the center letter?

Add +letter to your search — +g means every result must contain a G, matching the Bee's center-letter rule.

Can letters really repeat?

Yes — the Bee lets you reuse letters, so this mode turns on Repeat letters: a single L can still spell HELLO.
